Associate Attorney, Criminal Defense Practice Group at AmLaw 200 Law Firm: Practice focused on the representation of both individual and corporate clients defending criminal prosecutions and facing investigations and regulatory enforcement. Worked alongside some of the region's top litigators on some of the region's most publicized criminal matters.  Drafted briefs and argued motions in State, Federal and local courts in New York and New Jersey at every phase in a criminal prosecution from bail, to pre- and post-trial motions through sentencing.

For five years, and throughout law school, Ms. Costello worked for a plaintiffs' class action law firm in Manhattan (Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach LLP), with a focus on its securities fraud class action lawsuits brought on behalf of shareholders.  She also represented juveniles facing charges in the Family Part in Essex County for the Seton Hall University School of Law Juvenile Justice Clinic, served as an Intern at the Federal Public Defender's Office for the District of New Jersey and served as an Intern for the Honorable Donald S. Goldman, J.S.C., in the Criminal Part in Essex County, New Jersey.
